Denise

Hi!  My name is Danise and this is Sparky one of my many pets.  I have been in the Veterinary field for 17 years.  I came to Happy Tails Pet Clinic 2006. Under the training of Dr. Bright and Susan, I have learned more than I have at any other practice I have worked for.

Alex

Hi! My name is Alex. I have been in the veterinary field since 2015, but I have been around animals my entire life. I started at Happy Tails Pet Clinic in May of 2019 and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Prior to working at Happy Tails Pet Clinic I worked in a zoo setting taking care of exotic animals and rehabilitating orphaned and injured wildlife. When I am not at work I enjoy spending time on my farm with my family.

Angela

Angela

I was born and raised in Bangor, Maine. I moved to Florida with my dad and 2 brothers at the age of 13. I now have a 13 year old son named Donovan. I have 2 cats: Toe-B & Thor. Toe-B was a rescue and is 7 years old now (2022). Thor is my 9 month old Maine Coon Cat imported from Serbia (yes, he has a passport). I enjoy playing cards, frequent trips to the beach, painting and bowling. Any time spent with family, friends and pets is a blessing.

Cody

Cody

Hi, I'm cody and I am 30 years old (2022). I was born in a small town in north Georgia. I moved to central Florida with my mom and stepdad 15 years ago and this has been my home ever since. My life truly revolves around my children. I have two awesome boys ages 11 and 7. This is my first time working in a vet clinic. I actually have my AS degree in elementary education, but I feel that my experience with children and the love and nurting has really helped me flourish in this field. I love being able to provide love and support to every client and patient. Happy Tails has show to be an amazing work atmosphere and its so nice to work with so many who truly love what they do.

Robert

Robert

I am a native Floridian who was born and raised on St. Pete Beach Florida. I have always had a love for animals and have a passion for helping people. I have a son named Miles who keeps us busy at home alongside our 3 Great Danes and Chihuahua puppy. In my free time I enjoy playing music and writing poetry.

Lailah

Lailah

I’m a veterinary technician who was raised right here in Ocklawaha, and I’ve always had a passion for animals and helping them thrive.  I enjoy spending my free time  outdoors with my dogs, whether it was hiking, fishing, or just enjoying the fresh air. In high school, I was also active in sports, playing softball for our local team, which taught me teamwork and discipline. Now, as a vet tech, I’m grateful to be able to give back to the community that raised me, all while doing what I love—caring for animals.

Haylie

I moved to Ocklawaha 2 years ago from Maryland. I worked at an animal clinic in Maryland and knew I had to continue to follow my passion here in Florida. In my free time I enjoy spending quality moments with my family, whether we’re enjoying the outdoors or simply relaxing at home. I also have three wonderful dogs (a Bully, a French Bulldog, and a Lab/Aussie Mix)  who keep me active and bring so much joy to my life. The move to Ocklawaha has been a fresh start, and I’m excited to continue to build new memories with my loved ones.

Vanessa

Vanessa

Vanessa is a dedicated veterinary technician who brings both expertise and compassion to every patient she cares for. Outside of work, she has a passion for baking, often whipping up sweet treats in her free time. She shares her life with two playful Boston Terriers and enjoys spending time with them, whether it's playing in the yard or relaxing at home. When she's not caring for animals or baking, you can find her attending concerts with her fiancé, enjoying live music and making lasting memories. She’s thrilled to be part of the team and to help provide excellent care for every pet.
